Borrow against your graded cards without selling them.

CardWize is building loans backed by the graded cards you already keep in a vault. The card never leaves the vault, and it comes back to you when you repay.

How it works

Your graded cards have real market value. CardWize lets you put that value to work while you keep your collection.

  1. 1

Pick a card in your vault

Choose a graded card you already store with a vault service. To open the loan, you e-transfer it to CardWize inside the vault. Nothing gets shipped.

  2. 2

    See what it's worth

We value the card using recent sales of the same card and grade, then you choose how much to borrow, up to 50% of its value.

  3. 3

    Repay and get it back

Pay interest monthly and the principal at the end of the term, or pay off early with no penalty. The moment your balance hits zero, the card is e-transferred straight back to your vault account.

No shipping, ever.

Every move is a peer-to-peer e-transfer between vault accounts. Your cards stay on the same vault shelf the whole time: into CardWize's account when the loan opens, and back into yours the moment it's paid off.

Built by collectors, for collectors

Graded cards have become a serious asset. But if you need cash, the only real option today is to sell, often at the wrong moment and usually for good. Banks don't lend against cards, and most lenders don't understand them.

We've spent years buying, grading, and holding cards ourselves, and we understand how lending works. CardWize brings those together: loans priced from real market data, built around how collectors already store their cards.

We're early, and we're building this with the community. Try the demo below to see where we're headed.

See it in action

Here's what we're building. Pick one or more cards to borrow against as a pool, then walk through the loan from offer to payoff.

This is a demo with sample numbers. CardWize isn't offering loans yet, and nothing here is an offer of credit. Card values are CardWize estimates based on sales data pulled since September 2026. Lendability tiers and loan figures are illustrative and will change as we refine our underwriting. Actual rates, loan amounts, and terms will vary and depend on approval and availability in your state.

Step 1 of 6

Choose the cards you want to borrow against

These sample cards are sitting in a vault account. Select one or several. Together they form your collateral pool.

Build your loan Example terms

Pick a term to see how much you can borrow, up to 50% of your pool's value. Shorter terms unlock a higher limit.

Where are my cards while the loan is open?

They stay in the same vault. When the loan funds, you transfer the cards to CardWize's account using your vault's transfer feature. When you repay, we transfer them straight back to you.

Can I repay early?

Yes, anytime, with no prepayment penalty. You pay the principal plus the interest that has built up since your last monthly payment, and that's it. The sooner you repay, the less interest you pay overall.

How do the monthly payments work?

Each month you pay only the interest on what you borrowed. The principal isn't due until the end of the term, so your monthly payments stay small and your cash stays free.

What happens if I can't repay by the due date?

You get a 5-day grace period after the due date. If the loan still isn't repaid after that, CardWize sells enough of the pool to cover what you owe, and anything left over goes back to you.

Step 5 of 6

Sign, transfer, and get funded

You move the cards to CardWize inside your vault. They never physically go anywhere.
