Borrow against your graded cards without selling them.

CardWize is building loans backed by the graded cards you already keep in a vault. The card never leaves the vault, and it comes back to you when you repay.

How it works

Your graded cards have real market value. CardWize lets you put that value to work while you keep your collection.

  1. 1

Pick a card in your vault

Choose a graded card you already store with a vault service. Nothing gets shipped anywhere.

  2. 2

    See what it's worth

We value the card using recent sales of the same card and grade, then you choose how much to borrow against it.

  3. 3

    Repay and get it back

No monthly payments. Pay it all back by the end of the term, or earlier, and the card transfers back to you.

Built by three friends who are longtime collectors

Graded cards have become a serious asset. But if you need cash, the only real option today is to sell, often at the wrong moment and usually for good. Banks don't lend against cards, and most lenders don't understand them.

We've spent years buying, grading, and holding cards ourselves, and we understand how lending works. CardWize brings those together: loans priced from real market data, built around how collectors already store their cards.

We're early, and we're building this with the community. Try the demo below to see where we're headed.

See it in action

Here's what we're building. Walk through a sample loan, from picking a card to paying it back.

This is a demo with sample cards and sample numbers. CardWize isn't offering loans yet, and nothing here is an offer of credit. Actual rates, loan amounts, and terms will vary and depend on approval and availability in your state.

Step 1 of 6

Choose a card from your vault

These sample cards are sitting in a vault account. Pick one to see what you could borrow against it.

Cards stay in the vault the whole time. Nothing gets shipped.

Where is my card while the loan is open?

It stays in the same vault. When the loan funds, you transfer the card to CardWize's account using your vault's transfer feature. When you repay, we transfer it straight back to you.

Can I repay early?

Yes, anytime. Interest builds daily, so repaying early means you only pay interest for the days you actually borrowed.

What happens if I can't repay by the due date?

You get a 15-day grace period after the due date. If the loan still isn't repaid after that, CardWize sells the card to cover what you owe, and anything left over goes back to you.

Step 5 of 6

Sign, transfer, and get funded

You move the card to CardWize inside your vault. It never physically goes anywhere.
